Accessing Secured Portions of the GE7EA Users Group Web Site

Firefox 12.0 and subsequent versions Corrective Action

The Mozilla Team made a design decision in July 2010 about Firefix 12.0 (and greater) which presents a "This Connection is Untrusted" screen to the User as opposed to the correct GE7EA Users Group web page; however, a workaround exists, and this corrective action is presented on this page.

CORRECTIVE ACTION, Instructions to fix Firefox:

These instructions exhibit how to alter Firefox enabling accurate display of GE7EA Users Group web pages; in other words, these instructions eliminate the "This Connection is Untrusted" screen.

Firefox Policeman For Secure Connection Failed Screen This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to ge7ea.secure.users-groups.com, but we
can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to
prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone
is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.
